Aljomar owns its one-stop production chain, processed from a feeding, slaughterhouse and processing plant, the whole process is closely monitored. Equipped with advanced facilities, which conform to the strict EEC standards and have the capacity to slaughter, process, and store 50,000 pigs a year.
The farm is located in the famous "Extremadura" in southern Spain and has obtained P.D.O (Protected Designation of Origin) certification. The privileged microclimate in this area with its cold, dry winters and short, mild summers is ideal for producing high-quality pork meat.
The Pig was pasture-raised in Spain on a grain, grass, forage and acorns diet. 100% free-range with no added hormones. There are large grasslands and oak forests in the area, providing a high-quality environment for grazing, in line with high ethical standards and animal welfare.
