Woodland eggs are sourced primarily from three beautiful rural areas in Waitaki. It is one of the most unpolluted areas in the south New Zealand. The region is known for warm climate, clean air and excellent water quality.
The hens are raised free-range, the barn doors open every morning and the hens run out to greet the day.
Free to roam in grassy meadows, sheltered by thousands of trees they climb, and hunt for bugs and seeds.
Providing the finest feed, they mill their special blend of wheat, barley, and other grains that give them the nutrients they need for muscle tone and glossy feathers.
All the eggs are traceable, each egg is stamped with a code that tells you where it was laid. (FR = Free-range, Number=Farm code). You can trace every WOODLAND egg at tracemyegg.co.nz.
