The hens grow in a natural environment in the Gargano National Park, fully respecting their rhythms and life cycle, including sleep and wake cycles.
During the day, they are free to roam outdoors, basking in the sun, which fixes vitamin D in their bones and improves their health, on fields rich with alfalfa. They breathe pure air and, at dusk, return to their covered chicken coop.
They eat corn, soft wheat, barley, oats, field beans, and sorghum, grown locally and chopped to improve digestibility. They also peck at pebbles and herbs that the earth offers, which are useful for promoting the formation of the eggshells and the assimilation of cereals.
Storage: Keep chilled at 0-4°C
