Camembert is a moist, soft, creamy, surface-ripened cow's milk cheese. It was first made in the late 18th century in Camembert, Normandy, in northwest France.
When eating, just cut off a small amount with a knife and enjoy with red wine with less tannin content, light red wine, or white wine, or spread it on bread.
