Carabinero is a precious prawn, known as the best prawn in the world, and is regarded as a treasure by many high-end restaurants.
The deep-sea red prawn inhabits the sea area from Portugal to the Cape Verde Islands in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean and the entire Mediterranean coast. It is commonly known as "Spanish red prawn" in Hong Kong.
The carabinero has a deep red colour on the body and is about palm size. It grows in the deep sea at a water depth of 500-2000 meters and feeds on seaweed and rich minerals. Among them, the Carabineros is the largest species.
The red prawn paste is rich in aroma, 10 times stronger than that of normal raw sea prawns, and the freshness and sweetness of the meat are even better than lobsters.
This red prawn is naturally delicious. Only need to thaw and pan-fry it to taste the most natural taste. You can add a little sea salt to enhance the taste. The essence of red prawns lies in their head. You can pan-fry the head and use it to cook the soup base with noodles.
